It all started in the lively city of Madurai in 1954, when our family entered the oilseed business with a simple yet strong philosophy: "Quality oil starts at the source." For generations, we have worked hand in hand with local farmers, carefully selecting the best sesame, groundnut, and coconut seeds years before the term "cold-pressed" was well heard.

But our ambition did not fail with trade. We opened our oil mill in 2004 to complete this dedication to excellence in a full circle, not only in choosing the correct seeds, but also in preparing them correctly.

    The Beginning: Oil Seeds Trading

    We established our very first trading shop in Madurai, procuring the best oil seeds and delivering them to oil mills all over Tamil Nadu. Our emphasis was always on selecting the highest-quality seeds since quality oil begins at the source.

    First Oil Mill in Madurai

    After 50 years of business, we established our oil mill in Jaihindpuram, Madurai, supplying fresh, pressed oils in wholesale quantities.

    First Retail Store

    We launched our first retail store in Jaihindpuram, Madurai, to provide our premium oils to customer's doorsteps.

    Fresh & Crush is Born

    We inaugurated the Fresh & Crush brand with our initial manufacturing-cum-retail facility in Navalur, OMR, Chennai — one of the city's first to make available fresh, high-quality marachekku oils directly to consumers.
